Young women between the ages of 11 and 20 are invited to be charter members of Lily of the Valley Assembly of Ellensburg.
Proposed meetings are tentatively scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 7 pm.
Both Ellensburg Masonic Lodge and Cle Elum/St Thomas Masonic Lodge have voted to sponsor Lily of the Valley Assembly and a group of adults have stepped
forward to serve as Advisory Board members and are eagerly waiting to welcome all young women interested in starting this sororal organization in our
community.
The Master Masons of Ellensburg have extended an invitation to the members of Lily of the Valley Assembly to be the facilitators of their
"Bikes for Books" program which awards bicycles to school students participating in a school run reading program. Rainbow Girls also have
for their jurisdictional service project the Burned Children's Recovery Foundation, a program based in Everett, Washington. Rainbow Girls
have the opportunity to qualify as counselors for Camp Phoenix. Camp Phoenix is operated by the Burned Children's Recovery Foundation to serve children
and their families who are dealing with burn injuries.
Rainbow Girls, by their participation in an assembly, have an opportunity to learn public speaking skills, business management and
accounting knowledge, etiquette and personal development abilities, along with travel to other assemblies and jurisdictions worldwide and friendships
that will last a lifetime.
All girls and/or their parents, who are interested, please contact:
The Grand Deputy, Mrs. Nancy Jo Tutino at 509-929-4400.
